- Layer the pastry with ham slices and sprinkle cheese evenly over the top.
- Fold the pastry in half over the filling. Press gently to seal. Cut into strips (about 1 inch wide).
- Twist each strip gently and place it on the baking sheet.
- Brush each stick with the beaten egg for a golden finish.
- Bake for 15–20 minutes, or until golden, puffed, and crispy.
💡 Tips:
- Want an extra punch? Sprinkle with a little black pepper or paprika before baking.
- These are best served warm, but you can reheat them in the oven or air fryer!
