β Ingredients (4 servings)
Seafood:
- 1 cup cooked shrimp, chopped
- 1 cup lump crab meat
- 1 tbsp butter (for sautΓ©ing seafood)
- Salt & pepper
Base:
- 3 tbsp butter
- 1 small onion, finely diced
- 1 celery stalk, finely diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 3 tbsp flour
- 3 cups seafood stock (or chicken broth)
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup milk
- 2 tbsp tomato paste
- 1 tsp Old Bay seasoning (optional but amazing)
- 1/4 tsp paprika
- Pinch of cayenne (optional)
- Salt & pepper to taste
Optional finishing touches:
- 1 tbsp sherry or white wine (gives restaurant flavor!)
- Chives or parsley for garnish
