  • ¼ cup beef broth or water
  • 1 tbsp oyster sauce (optional but authentic)
  • 1 tbsp brown sugar
  • 1 tsp cornstarch
  • ½–1 tsp freshly ground black pepper (to taste)

👩‍🍳 Instructions

  1. Marinate the Beef

    Let rest 10–15 minutes.
  2. Sear the Beef
Heat 1 tbsp oil in a hot wok or skillet.
Add beef in a single layer and sear 1–2 minutes per side until just browned.
Remove and set aside (don’t overcook).

    Add remaining oil.
Sauté onion, bell peppers, garlic, and ginger for 2–3 minutes until crisp-tender.
  4. Make It Sizzle
    Whisk sauce ingredients.
Return beef to the pan, pour in sauce, and toss over high heat.
Cook 1–2 minutes until glossy and thick.
  5. Serve
    Taste and adjust pepper/sweetness.
Serve immediately over steamed rice or noodles.

💡 Pro Tips
