🍮 Vanilla Cream Filling (Custard Layer):

Ingredients:

• 1 egg
• A pinch of salt
• 380 ml milk
• 30g cornstarch
• 8g vanilla sugar (or 1 tsp vanilla extract)
• 70g sugar
• 2 tsp lemon juice
• 30g butter

Instructions:

1. In a saucepan, whisk the egg, sugar, salt, vanilla sugar, cornstarch, and milk until smooth.
2. Heat over medium heat, stirring constantly until thickened.
3. Remove from heat, stir in lemon juice and butter until melted and smooth.
4. Cover with plastic wrap touching the surface to prevent a skin from forming. Let it cool.
