🥤 Beetroot & Lemon Juice Drink Recipe
Ingredients:
- 1 medium beetroot, peeled and chopped
- Juice of ½ a lemon
- 1 cup water (or coconut water)
- (Optional) A small piece of fresh ginger or a few mint leaves for flavour
Instructions:
- Wash and peel the beetroot, chop into small pieces.
- Put the beetroot (and ginger/mint if using) into a blender with the water. Blend until smooth.
- Strain if you prefer a clear juice, or drink as is.
- Add the freshly squeezed lemon juice and stir.
- Drink preferably in the morning on an empty stomach.
