🥞 Hungarian Palacsinta (Sweet Pancakes)


👨‍🍳 Instructions

1. Make the batter

  • In a bowl, whisk eggs, milk, and sparkling water.
  • Add flour, sugar, salt, and vanilla.
  • Mix until smooth (thin, runny batter).
  • Let it rest for 10–15 minutes.

2. Cook the pancakes

  • Heat a non-stick pan and lightly grease it.
  • Pour a small amount of batter and swirl to make a thin layer.
  • Cook for about 1 minute, then flip and cook the other side.
  • Repeat with remaining batter.

3. Fill and roll

  • Spread your chosen filling over each pancake.
  • Roll or fold them.

🍽️ Serving

  • Sprinkle with powdered sugar
  • Add a drizzle of chocolate or extra jam
  • Serve warm 😋
