
These traditional Hungarian pancakes are thin, soft, and perfect for filling with jam, Nutella, cocoa, or custard. Easy to make and irresistible! 😋
Ingredients (Version 1 – Pancake Mix):
- 10–11 pancakes worth of mix
- 3 eggs
- 300 ml milk
- 40 g vanilla pudding powder
- 1 tbsp oil
- Optional fillings: jam, cocoa, Nutella
Ingredients (Version 2 – From Scratch):
- 5 packs vanilla pudding
- 3 eggs
- Sugar, to taste
- A pinch of salt
- Milk
- Water
Instructions:
1️⃣ Prepare Batter (Mix version):
- Mix pancake mix, eggs, milk, and pudding powder into a smooth batter.
- Add 1 tbsp oil and stir well.
2️⃣ Cook Pancakes:
- Heat a non-stick pan over medium heat.
- Pour a small amount of batter and swirl to cover the bottom.
- Cook until golden, flip, and cook the other side.
3️⃣ Prepare Custard (Scratch version):
- Cook pudding according to package instructions using milk, sugar, eggs, salt, and water.
4️⃣ Fill & Serve:
- Fill pancakes with jam, Nutella, cocoa, or prepared custard.
- Roll or fold and serve warm.
Tips:
- Use a non-stick pan for perfect thin pancakes.
- Serve with powdered sugar, fresh fruit, or whipped cream for extra indulgence.
- Leftover pancakes can be refrigerated for a day or two and reheated.
