👩🍳 How to Make Meatball Boats
Step 1: Make the Meatballs
1️⃣ In a large bowl, mix ground meat, breadcrumbs, Parmesan, egg, milk, and seasonings.
2️⃣ Roll into small meatballs (about 1 inch in diameter).
3️⃣ Bake at 375°F (190°C) for 15-18 minutes, or until browned and cooked through.
4️⃣ Toss the cooked meatballs in ½ cup marinara sauce and set aside.
Step 2: Prepare the Bread Boats
5️⃣ Cut a long oval in the center of each baguette and hollow out some bread (don’t cut all the way through).
6️⃣ Brush the inside with melted butter mixed with garlic powder & Italian seasoning. Toast for 5 minutes at 375°F.
Step 3: Assemble & Bake
7️⃣ Spoon a little marinara sauce into each bread boat.
8️⃣ Add 3-4 meatballs per boat and cover with more sauce.
9️⃣ Sprinkle lots of mozzarella cheese over the top.
🔟 Bake for 8-10 minutes until the cheese is melted & bubbly.
Step 4: Serve & Enjoy!
🌿 Garnish with fresh basil or parsley, serve warm, and enjoy that gooey, cheesy, saucy perfection! 😍🍕
