
Instructions
1. Marinate the chicken
Mix sliced chicken with:
- Soy sauce
- Cornstarch
- Oil
Let sit 10 minutes.
2. Make the sauce
Stir together:
- Soy sauce
- Oyster sauce
- Rice vinegar
- Sugar
- Black pepper
- Water
Set aside.
3. Stir-fry chicken
Heat oil in a hot pan or wok.
Sear chicken until golden and nearly cooked.
Remove and set aside.
4. Cook aromatics
In the same pan:
- Add onion, garlic, ginger, peppers, chilies
- Stir-fry 2–3 minutes until fragrant
5. Combine
Return chicken to the pan.
Pour sauce over everything.
Cook 2–3 minutes until the sauce thickens and becomes glossy.
6. Serve
Hot and sizzling over:
- Steamed rice
- Noodles
- Stir-fried vegetables
Top with extra black pepper for maximum flavor.
