🐟 Hungarian Fish Soup (HalĂĄszlĂ©)

Ingredients:

  • 1 kg freshwater fish (carp preferred, cut into pieces)
  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 2 onions (finely chopped)
  • 2 tbsp Hungarian paprika
  • 1 tomato (chopped)
  • 1 bell pepper (chopped)
  • 1–2 cloves garlic (optional)
  • 1 tsp salt (or to taste)
  • œ tsp black pepper
  • 1–1.5 liters water
  • 1 tsp hot paprika or chili (optional, for heat)
