🎄 Hungarian Beigli – Christmas Poppy Seed & Walnut Roll Cake

A beautiful choice! 🇭🇺 Beigli (also spelled bejgli) is one of Hungary’s most traditional Christmas pastries. These rolled yeast cakes are filled with either poppy seed (mákos) or walnut (diós) filling, symbolizing prosperity and abundance. They’re baked golden, sliced into spirals, and enjoyed during the holidays with coffee or mulled wine.
