- 1 lb (500 g) rooster combs (well-cleaned and blanched)
- 1 lb (500 g) chicken gizzards (cleaned and cut into smaller pieces)
- 2 onions (finely chopped)
- 3–4 garlic cloves (minced)
- 2–3 tbsp lard or oil
- 2 tbsp sweet paprika powder
- 1 green pepper (chopped)
- 1 tomato (or 1 tbsp tomato paste)
- Salt & black pepper to taste
- Hot paprika or chili paste (optional, for heat)
