
👩🍳 Instructions:
- Mix Dry Ingredients
In a large bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt. - Mix Wet Ingredients
In a separate bowl, whisk milk, egg, melted butter (or oil), and vanilla. - Combine
Add the wet ingredients to the dry and stir until a soft dough forms. Don’t overmix. - Roll & Cut
Lightly flour a surface and roll out dough to about ½-inch thick. Cut out donuts using a donut cutter or two round cutters (like a glass + bottle cap). - Fry
Heat oil in a deep pan to 350°F (175°C). Carefully drop in 2–3 donuts at a time. Fry each side for about 1–2 minutes until golden brown. Don’t overcrowd. - Drain & Coat
Remove donuts and drain on paper towels. While still warm, roll in cinnamon sugar, dust with powdered sugar, or dip in glaze.
🍫 Easy Chocolate Glaze (optional):
- ½ cup powdered sugar
- 2 tablespoons cocoa powder
- 1–2 tablespoons milk
- ½ teaspoon vanilla extract
Mix until smooth. Dip the top of each donut and let set.
