🥣 Ingredients:

For the Dough:

  • 2¼ tsp instant yeast (1 packet)
  • ½ cup lukewarm milk
  • 3 tbsp granulated sugar
  • 2¼ cups all-purpose flour
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter, softened
  • ½ tsp vanilla extract
  • Zest of 1 lemon (optional but traditional)

For Frying & Coating:

  • Neutral oil for frying (e.g., canola or sunflower)
  • Granulated sugar for coating

Optional Fillings:

  • Jam (raspberry, apricot)
