👩🍳 Instructions:
1. Make the Dough:
- In a mixing bowl, combine warm milk and yeast. Let sit for 5 minutes until foamy.
- Add the egg, condensed milk, flour, and salt. Mix until a rough dough forms.
- Knead in the softened butter, a little at a time, until fully absorbed and dough becomes smooth and elastic (10–15 minutes by hand or 7–8 minutes in a stand mixer).
2. First Rise:
- Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover, and let rise in a warm spot until doubled — about 1 to 1½ hours.
3. Shape the Bread:
- Punch down the dough. Shape it into a loaf or divide into 8 equal pieces and roll into balls for rolls.
- Place into a greased loaf pan or round pan (for rolls).
- Cover and let rise again for 30–45 minutes.
4. Bake:
- Preheat oven to 350°F / 180°C.
- Brush the top with melted butter or a mix of butter and condensed milk for a sweet glaze.
- Bake for 25–30 minutes until golden brown and sounds hollow when tapped.
5. Cool & Serve:
- Let it cool slightly before slicing.
- Serve warm with butter, jam, or even more condensed milk for dipping!
💡 Tips:
- Want it even richer? Add a bit of vanilla extract or use whole milk.
- You can braid or swirl the dough for a decorative touch.
- Great for French toast if you have leftovers (though that rarely happens 😄).
