Ingredients

- 1 tsp sugar
- 2¼ tsp (7 g) instant yeast
- 1½ cups warm water

Instructions
- In a bowl, mix flour, salt, sugar, and yeast.
- Add warm water (and olive oil if using). Stir until a sticky dough forms.
- Cover and let rise 1 hour until doubled.
- Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C). Place an oven-safe pot (with lid) inside to heat.
- Carefully transfer dough into the hot pot (no shaping needed).
- Cover and bake 30 minutes.
- Uncover and bake 10–15 minutes until golden and crusty.
- Cool slightly, slice, and enjoy.
