๐น Ingredients
For the Chicken:
- 2 large chicken breasts (or 4 small)
- Salt & black pepper (to taste)
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
- 3 tbsp butter
- 4 cloves garlic (minced)
- Juice of 1 lemon
- Zest of ยฝ lemon
- 2 tbsp chopped parsley
For the Creamy Parmesan Pasta:
- 250g (8 oz) pasta (fettuccine or penne)
- 2 tbsp butter
- 3 cloves garlic (minced)
- 1 cup (240 ml) heavy cream
- ยพ cup grated Parmesan cheese
- Salt & pepper (to taste)
- ยฝ tsp Italian seasoning (optional)
๐น Instructions
Step 1: Cook the Pasta
- Boil pasta in salted water until al dente.
- Reserve ยฝ cup pasta water, then drain.
Step 2: Cook the Chicken
- Season chicken with salt, pepper, paprika, and Italian seasoning.
- Heat butter in a skillet over medium heat.
- Cook chicken 5โ6 minutes per side until golden and fully cooked.
- Add garlic and cook 30 seconds.
- Stir in lemon juice and zest.
- Spoon butter sauce over chicken.
- Sprinkle parsley and remove from heat.
Step 3: Make the Creamy Parmesan Sauce
- In the same pan (or separate pan), melt butter.
- Add garlic and sautรฉ briefly.
- Pour in heavy cream and simmer 3โ4 minutes.
- Stir in Parmesan until smooth.
- Add salt, pepper, and seasoning.
- Toss in cooked pasta. Add reserved pasta water if needed to loosen sauce.
Step 4: Serve
- Plate creamy pasta.
- Top with sliced lemon garlic chicken.
