🍏 Hungarian Apple Cream Cake – Light, Fluffy & Irresistible

Ingredients:

Cake:

  • 3 egg whites
  • 70 ml oil
  • 70 ml water
  • 140 g sugar
  • 3 egg yolks
  • 180 g all-purpose flour
  • ¼ pack baking powder

Custard Layer:

  • 2 packs vanilla pudding powder
  • 60 g sugar
  • 500 ml apple juice
  • 3 tart apples, peeled and chopped

Topping:

  • 500 ml whipped cream

Instructions:

1️⃣ Prepare the Cake:

  • Beat egg whites until stiff, gradually adding sugar.
  • Mix egg yolks with oil and water, then fold into egg whites.
  • Sift flour with baking powder and fold gently into the batter.
  • Pour into a greased baking pan and bake at 180°C (350°F) for 20–25 minutes. Let cool.

2️⃣ Prepare the Custard:

  • Cook pudding powder with sugar and apple juice until thick.
  • Fold in chopped apples. Let it cool slightly.

3️⃣ Assemble the Cake:

  • Spread apple custard over the cooled cake.
  • Top with whipped cream and smooth evenly.
