🇭🇺 Nokedli (Hungarian Egg Noodles)

Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 large eggs
  • ½–¾ cup water
  • ½ tsp salt

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix flour and salt. Add eggs and ½ cup water.
  2. Stir until a soft, sticky batter forms. Add more water if needed.
  3. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil.
  4. Using a spaetzle maker or spoon, drop small portions of dough into boiling water.
  5. Cook 2–3 minutes until noodles float to the surface.
  6. Remove with a slotted spoon and drain.

Serve immediately with Chicken Paprikash, stews, or toss with butter.
