Ingredients:
For the dough:
- 3 cups (375 g) all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
- ½ tsp salt
- Âľ cup (170 g) unsalted butter, softened
- Âľ cup (150 g) sugar
- 2 large eggs
- ½ cup (120 ml) sour cream (or plain yogurt)
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
For the filling:
- 1 ½ – 2 lbs (700–900 g) ripe plums, halved and pitted
- ½ cup (100 g) sugar (adjust depending on sweetness of plums)
- 1 tsp ground cinnamon
- 1 tbsp cornstarch (optional, if plums are very juicy)
For topping (optional):
- Powdered sugar for dusting
