1. Cook the pasta
- Bring salted water to a boil.
- Cook pasta until tender.
- Drain and set aside.
2. Cook the bacon
- In a pan, fry diced bacon until crispy.
- Remove bacon and keep the fat in the pan.
3. Combine
- Add cooked pasta to the pan with bacon fat.
- Toss well to coat.
- Add cottage cheese and mix gently.
4. Add toppings
- Stir in sour cream.
- Add crispy bacon on top.
- Season with salt and a little pepper if desired.
5. Serve
- Serve hot, optionally with extra sour cream on top.
