1. Cook the pasta

  • Bring salted water to a boil.
  • Cook pasta until tender.
  • Drain and set aside.

2. Cook the bacon

  • In a pan, fry diced bacon until crispy.
  • Remove bacon and keep the fat in the pan.

3. Combine

  • Add cooked pasta to the pan with bacon fat.
  • Toss well to coat.
  • Add cottage cheese and mix gently.

4. Add toppings

  • Stir in sour cream.
  • Add crispy bacon on top.
  • Season with salt and a little pepper if desired.

5. Serve

  • Serve hot, optionally with extra sour cream on top.
