1. Prepare the dumplings
- Mix mashed potatoes, egg, salt, and flour.
- Knead into a soft dough.
- Set aside.
2. Cook the base
- Heat oil or butter in a pot.
- Sauté onion until soft.
- Add garlic and paprika, stir quickly.
3. Add broth
- Pour in broth.
- Season with salt and pepper.
- Bring to a boil.
4. Add dumplings
- Drop small spoonfuls of dough into the soup.
- Cook 5–7 minutes until they float.
5. Add eggs
- Beat eggs lightly.
- Slowly pour into the soup while stirring to form ribbons.
6. Serve
- Garnish with parsley and serve hot.
