- Heat oil in a pot and cook onions until soft and golden.
- Add garlic, remove from heat, and stir in paprika.
- Add chicken pieces and coat well.
- Return to heat and cook for a few minutes.
- Add tomato, bell pepper, salt, and pepper.
- Pour in broth, cover, and simmer for 35–45 minutes until chicken is tender.
- Mix sour cream with flour, then stir into the sauce.
- Simmer a few more minutes until thick and creamy.

Serve hot with nokedli (Hungarian dumplings) or noodles.
