1. Prep the breading
- In one bowl, mix flour, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
- In another bowl, whisk eggs + milk.
- In a third bowl, place breadcrumbs (panko recommended).
2. Coat the chicken
- Dip each chicken strip in flour mixture → shake off excess.
- Dip in egg mixture.
- Coat with breadcrumbs → press lightly so they stick.
3. Cook
Frying method:
- Heat oil in a skillet over medium heat.
- Fry strips 3–4 minutes per side until golden brown and cooked through.
- Drain on paper towels.
Air fryer method:
- Preheat to 400°F (200°C).
- Spray strips lightly with oil.
- Air fry 10–12 minutes, flipping halfway, until crispy.
4. Serve
- With ketchup, honey mustard, ranch, or garlic aioli.
- Optional: sprinkle with parmesan or chopped parsley for extra flavor.
