❄️ Havas Háztető – Hungarian Snowy Rooftop Cake 🇭🇺🍰

👩‍🍳 Instructions

1️⃣ Prepare the Cake Dough

  1. In a bowl, mix flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and sugar.
  2. Add softened butter, egg, milk, and vinegar, then mix until a dough forms.
  3. Divide into two equal portions and roll out into rectangles (about 9×13 inches).
  4. Bake each layer at 180°C (350°F) for 10-12 minutes. Let cool.

2️⃣ Make the Creamy Vanilla Filling

  1. Heat milk in a saucepan.
  2. In a separate bowl, mix vanilla pudding powder (or cornstarch) and sugar with a little milk.
  3. Pour the mixture into the hot milk, stirring constantly until thickened.
  4. Remove from heat, let cool slightly, then mix in butter until smooth.

3️⃣ Assemble the Cake

  1. Place one cocoa cake layer on a tray.
  2. Spread the vanilla filling evenly on top.
  3. Place the second cake layer over the cream.
  4. Cut the cake into equal strips (about 2 inches wide).
  5. Stack two strips on top of each other, forming a triangular “roof” shape.

4️⃣ Chocolate Glaze & Coconut Snow

  1. Melt dark chocolate and butter together.
  2. Pour over the triangular cake, letting it drip down the sides.
  3. Sprinkle generously with coconut flakes for a “snowy” effect.

5️⃣ Chill & Serve

❄️ Refrigerate for a few hours or overnight before slicing and serving!
